This is the Sr. Martha HIV/AIDS Care Center in Khaykkhami.

Thank you for donating to our children aid organisation House of Hope e.V. Munich

15 children infected with HIV, but also healthy children live at the Sr. Martha Care Center in Khaykkhami (130 km south of the capital Yangon). Overall, Sr. Martha cares for 60 children. Not all of them are infected. Part of them comes from very poor families. Not only do these external protégés receive food at the Center, they are also supported in doing their homework. Moreover, another care centre is under construction in Kawthaung (in the extreme south).

Sr. Martha's new mission in Kawthaung is intended to fulfil the following tasks: giving care to families infected with HIV including the supply of medication, school education, sufficient nutrition and medical care for the children, psychological support of traumatised refugees, home for orphaned and sick children.
