LOOKING BACK on 10 Years of House of Hope

10 years House of Hope e.V.

A Brief Review (picture gallery below):

Overall, we have been able to reach something positive for more than 1,000 children in the period from December 2004 until December 2014 owing to your donations amounting to some 745,000 euros.  (Our administrative costs only amounted to 10,500 euros in total, and we will continue keeping them below 5% in future).

We thank you for your great support in the past ten years and look forward to your trust and your donations in the next decade.

Our Projects for Munich:

Following our foundation (with a capital contribution of 1,000 euros paid in by founder Jeanette Kühn) in December 2004, we started two Munich projects:

  • We support the Clemens Maria Children's Home (CLEMAKI) in Putzbrunn and the St. Anna House in Aying: These are the homes of 150 children between 2.5 and 18 years. The children's homes received financial help for trauma therapies, holiday programmes, music education, and the sports club. In addition, we supported the new construction and extension of St. Anna House by providing funds amounting to 248.000 euros
  • We provided funding amounting to 15,300 euros for workshops ("How to say no in a non-violent way", "My inner hero" and "What does happiness mean") for several hundred children and for basketball tournaments for children from socially week families.
